I am a Social and Political Geographer of Europe. My research involves:
- Geopolitical Conditions of Europeanization: Political, economic, and everyday production methods of Europe and their regionally differentiated effects.
- Materialities of Globalization: Regulatory and practical transnationalization in fields such as organ donation, tissue and art trade.
- Political Geographies of Inequality: The emergence of spatial inequality in Europe and the role of economic, planning, and social processes.
- Geographies of Religion in Peripheral Spaces: Reactions of faith communities to secularization and out-migration in rural regions.
- Innovation of Qualitative Methods: Consequences of legal (GDPR), technological (AI), social, and political framework conditions for qualitative research.
